Farewell SY 2019-2020
Saying another farewell again, to another school, to SY 2019-2020. And with “farewell” comes another “hello”.
As I refused to let physical buildings determine my growth as an educator, I’m reminded to constantly be true to my core, to constantly be principled, and to love myself as much as I love my students.
To me, to be an educator is to empower my students. It is to give them enough skills so that they can protect themselves against injustice, against ideological state apparatuses that subtly and forcibly subjugate. To me, to educate is to empower. It’s so simple but so difficult to do.
These physical buildings have done their part. They have taught the students and they have taught me. They taught me how to be an educator, how to be patient, how to constantly improve myself. They taught me that more than intellectual skills, anyone could teach them that and even do a better job at it, my students would benefit more from learning about resilience, patience, and strenght of character from me.
To be an educator, after all, is a worthy profession. Educators can be “lux in domino”, if we choose to do so.

It was such an overwhelming as well as emotional moment were we could see their ups and downs through the frame of our heart. Each of their names where engraved on it.their journey through our life / our journey through their life , it may be love, anger, disappointment, frustrations, expectations , hope ….everything gone reel by reel … as every teacher feels so proud that they brought some changes in their life that could possibly help them in many ways .
